SAN FRANCISCO — August 3, 2026 — Virtuous Vittles, the human-grade plant-based nutrition company, returns to SUPERZOO next week for the show debut of Bountiful Land™ Food for Dogs — the first 100% plant-based morsels-in-gravy wet food on the market, now shipping after its November 2025 launch. The company is running live taste tests at booth #10370 in Emerging Brands all three days, with every dog (and everyone) at the show invited to a free first sniff.
The category has never had a product like it. Plant-based wet foods to date have come as pâtés or loaves; Bountiful Land™ serves up real morsels in savory gravy — a texture guardians recognize as a hearty stew and dogs treat accordingly. In the company’s taste tests, 95 of 100 dogs gobbled it up at first sniff.
The recipe is complete and balanced for adult maintenance, formulated by a board-certified veterinary nutritionist to deliver precision nutrition from plants: high-protein, with complementary plant proteins providing the full spectrum of essential amino acids — everything dogs need, without meat. Every ingredient is human-grade. Because plant-based recipes naturally avoid the most common canine food allergens — chicken, beef, dairy, and egg — the food serves the fast-growing population of dogs with food sensitivities.

For retailers and distributors, the format is built for the shelf: shelf-stable for two years with no refrigeration and no preservatives, packed in lightweight recyclable cartons that ship more efficiently than cans. Since launching in November 2025, the brand has grown direct-to-consumer with a subscription program alongside availability on Chewy and Amazon and in specialty and vegan retail, and is meeting prospective retail and distribution partners at the show.
Virtuous Vittles is made by a Certified B Corporation. A Bountiful Land recipe for cats is in development.
